A week ago it was announced that the 2012 MTV Movie Awards would be featuring never-before-seen footage of The Dark Knight Rises. Many people who had no interest in viewing the awards show declared that they would skip the broadcast and wait for the clip to find it's way online. But MTV has decided not to uploaded the clip online. In order to view it you'll have to tune in Sunday, June 3, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

The Dark Knight Rises One Night Only: The exclusive clip of The Dark Knight Rises will only be shown on MTV and will not be available online after the show -- legally, at least. Tune-in on Sunday or you’ll miss it! - The Hollywood Reporter

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th 2012 and stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.

@nut Same with TASM though. But I have to agree, I do not believe BB or TDK got anywhere near the much advertising, I wonder if Nolan is keeping shit under wraps like Joss did with Avengers, or if he is literally showing us all what he filmed. I'm gonna go out on a thick limb and agree with the latter.

It would be greatly appreciated if someone would upload it on here. I haven't had cable in 2 years and don't plan on getting it back anytime soon.

In case no one saw my post the other day in the comments to the third TV spot, I'll reiterate a few facts people seem to be off on:

1. Bruce doesn't actually get the cane after a fight with Bane - following TDK, Bruce is wounded, and then starts using the stick then. Afterwards though, he becomes "almost a recluse" (Empire's words, not mine), and he continues to use the cane for eight years, even though it's mostly a psychological thing.

2. The first scene after the prologue is Selina breaking into Wayne Manor and stealing Martha's pearls (apparently she does backflips and all this ninja shyte). Bruce tries to stop her, but fails. He then encounters her shortly after at the masquerade ball, which is held right around 'Harvey Dent Day' (yes, there's literally a day named after him...)

@cmay13: but it's probably just a 2-3 minute clip anyway so it's really not too much of a sacrifice to interrupt GOT for a few minutes for TDKR.

@ NOID, cool name btw my friend. BUT I wanted to tell you thatyour avatar icon is HOT! I wishthe costume was that HOTT in the movie! BUT nooo - along with the hundreds of other ways they raped the 'black costume saga' and the 'Venom' arch (btw some how aLONG the way people over looked the fact that those story lines are TWO DISTINCT DIFFERENT story archs and they are NOT the same. Its entirely possible - you guys would kno far better than I - it could be that Venom didn't even make his DEBUT the same YEAR of the 'black costume saga' Well wait thats prolly not the case since when he lost the alien costume it went to Brock (in the Cathedral one of the FEW things they got right)

@EVERY one back to Bats. So do U guys think theres any chance of it sweeping Avengers with sucess and the week'nd takes and so forth? Wat do you guys think? Sound off! Also now that you've seen a LOT more footage of Bane is any one now satisfied that pREVIOUSLY was not?
