The Dark Knight Rises Scene Involves Siberian Prisoner of War Camp

A scrap company has a very unusual and unexpected customer, when a member of the Batman production team came in looking for scrap to complete a scene.

A Siberian Prisoner of War Camp? What? How is this gonna fit into the movie? I'm truly at a loss on this one. Does this have something to do with Bruce Wayne doing pushups behind bars in the teaser? Or, does this have something to do with the prison scene they are filming at Carnegie Mellon? Or, does this have something to do with Ra's al Ghul? I'm leaning toward a flashback for Ra's, since we know a younger look-a-like of Liam Neeson was hired. What do you guys think?

Simply Recycling Solutions Ltd in Mile Road, Bedford, has produced the used material for a scene involving a Siberian Prisoner of War camp for Batman: The Dark Knight Rises.

The scrap company which has sites in Bedford, Luton and Northampton was contacted after a member of the movie’s production team drove past their business and dropped in for props.

Owner Jon O’Brien, 41, said: “One of the guys from the film drove past saw our sign and came in and asked for scrap to help build a part of their set.

“It’s going to be good to see my scrap on the silver screen when it’s all done.”

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th 2012 and stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Garly Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.

I think that Mr. Nolan might have Bane's origin no longer center in South America, i think that he might be a Serbian Prisoner of War that breaks out, it might account for his talents in hopeful breakouts.

They really need to change Bane's mask. I start to laugh out loud every time I see it.

I think the look for Bane is far superior to the "Nacho Libre" look he has in the comics lol. I wasn't keen on the idea of Bane been in the film, but judging by what we've seen of Bane so far, it looks like Mr. Nolan has done it again. Top marks.
I think they've jettisoned the idea of having Bane increase in size (which would look out of place in Nolan's style of film). In the very last shot of the teaser, he doesn't look too much bigger than Batman.
Although Batman does looks like he's he's in the middle of taking a beating.

P.S. - is the whole Talia al Ghul conspiracy theory still going on. That used to make me chuckle :)
