Too glossy and vibrant. The light blue should have been less saturated.

@DrReedRichards - yeah, and the cape needs to match the cowl.

It's interesting but could be improved.
UniqNo
UniqNo - 6/5/2023, 6:25 AM
That clour scheme makes he hate that suit even more. I still think the Begins suit was better aside from the clear difference of the fabric of the cape to the suit.
UniqNo
UniqNo - 6/5/2023, 6:28 AM
@UniqNo - Say what you want about Snyder, but this suit was hand's down the best Batsuit in all of his live action appearances.

DrReedRichards
DrReedRichards - 6/5/2023, 6:31 AM
@UniqNo -

Same for his Batmobile. Sleek and tactical, just like the Arkham games. Shame it was used as a meat-grinder instead.
UniqNo
UniqNo - 6/5/2023, 6:35 AM
@DrReedRichards - Agreed, though I was loving the Tumbler when it was the first piece of imagery we got for Batman Begins.

The Arkham city 1, if it ever got realised in live action, it would be the best.
DrReedRichards
DrReedRichards - 6/5/2023, 6:39 AM
@UniqNo -

Nolan's bat-vehicles might be the one element I never vivbed with from his trilogy. Even the tumbler's front that turned into a motorcycle, which sounds insanely cool in concept, just looked way too tactical and militarized, missing a lot of the earlier one's sleek.
Taonrey
Taonrey - 6/5/2023, 6:42 AM
@UniqNo - I actually think that's one of the worst bat suits, it's fat and makes Ben look like a sontaran from doctor who. Sndyer batmobile is great though
UniqNo
UniqNo - 6/5/2023, 6:53 AM
@Taonrey - I thought that about the one in BVS, but i much prefer the slimed down sleeker version they redid for JL, where Affleck was actually bigger.

@DrReedRichards - Yeah i think the Bike was an after thought, but I liked that sequence in TDK. The one Batfleck seems to be using in Flash looks dope though!

I also did quite like Nolan's version of the jet/copter aswell in Rises though.

Batman91
Batman91 - 6/5/2023, 7:41 AM
@UniqNo - Agreed, except I love the Begins suit, cape and all.

I'll take all the batnipples in the world over the TDK cowl. Didn't help that Bale looks like he lost half his body mass between BB and TDK either.
UniqNo
UniqNo - 6/5/2023, 8:34 AM
@Batman91 - Haha to be fair, he put on ALOT of weight for Begins after the Machinist and had to trim a bit off before they started photography, but was still quite bulked up. He was alot more slender in TDK.
CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 6/5/2023, 8:49 AM
@DrReedRichards - Keaton's Batmobile is ghe best design of all time, in any media. At least in my opinion. That thing is just so cool looking.
CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 6/5/2023, 8:50 AM
@Batman91 - Bale's cowl looks so weird to me in TDK and Rises. The mouth hole is too small, for starters. If they had opened that up a bit more it would have worked wonders.
DrReedRichards
DrReedRichards - 6/5/2023, 8:51 AM
@CorndogBurglar -

I used to love it too, but the one from the Arkham games (especially the 1st one) has taken that spot from me. Burton's is too sleek, Nolan's is too tactical, Arkham's and Snyder's is just the perfect balance.

More so in Asylum and City, less so in Knight where they bulked it up turned into as much of a death machine as Snyder's was.
Batman91
Batman91 - 6/5/2023, 9:35 AM
@CorndogBurglar - Exaxtly. That's the biggest problem. But I also think it's too round.

I also think Keaton has the GOAT Batmobile.
CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 6/5/2023, 9:49 AM
@Batman91 - Keaton's Batmobile is far my favorite. It's not even close.

@DrReedRichards - I do like the Arkham games Batmobile. It's very cool.

@UniqNo - You're damn right. Ben Affleck and Cavill got so screwed over. Those two men on screen look like [frick]ing gods and they were wasted.
UniqNo
UniqNo - 6/5/2023, 3:06 PM
@PC04 - I understand some of the criticism of Snyder when it came to some of the choices he made/agreed with from the writers, like Superman being too moody, or killing, and Batman being a blatant murderer and the whole deviation with the death of Superman and Doomsday, but he's never done a bad looking movie. I'm very much looking forward to seeing what he does with his own original work with Rebel Moon, but im also aware that the last time he tried something original (Sucker Punch) it wasn't great, but still looked pretty good.
PC04
PC04 - 6/5/2023, 3:18 PM
@UniqNo - Yup, Snyder does have a great eye for "looks" and he understands what makes something "CINEMATIC". Rebel Moon is going to definitely be a film to watch. I really do hope its the start of something good.

@PC04 - who wasted them the studio didn't write the script? Also I know the Theatrical version got hack up but the directors cut wasn't all that amazing I mean it was ok but nowhere near amazing in my opinion. Also by the way I respect ur opinion we just have different takes nothing wrong with that.
PC04
PC04 - 6/6/2023, 9:06 AM
@pitbull76 - Don't worry man, I know we're just chatting as friends here.

The studio (Producers, investors, etc.) often do interfere with the final product. When I say they "wasted" these two guys I mean, they (the studio entities) had two top tier actors portraying two of the most iconic characters in the world, with years of source material to go off of, and they (the studio) still managed to fumble the ball.

There were flashes of greatness in BvS, like the warehouse fight scene with Batman is amazing. The visual of Superman and Batman fighting is gorgeous. I just don't know what WB is doing with these characters.

They're (WB) decisions seem so strange.
pitbull76
pitbull76 - 6/6/2023, 1:20 PM
@PC04 - No I mean as far as actor's the were perfect it's I just feel it was not great because of what the had to work with.Man of steel was a great starting point but then I feel Zach was just fast tracking projects how do you go from Man of Steel right to Batman v Superman then right into Justice League?I feel he laid the foundation with Man of steel but should of after that put more solo movie's out you know more of a slow burn.I do not dislike Zack I love most of his movie's just I think the DCEU was not right for him.
PC04
PC04 - 6/6/2023, 3:32 PM
@pitbull76 - Oh I see what you're saying. I totally share that sentiment. There absolutely should've been a solo Batman and an additional Man of Steel movie before pitting them against one another. Then having Superman die so quickly felt so wrong. I wish DOOMSDAY was done properly instead of the strange DOOM-ZOD-AY we got. The loss of Superman didn't feel earned.
pitbull76
pitbull76 - 6/6/2023, 3:49 PM
@PC04 - ura I mean Gunn seems to have laid out a road map but the only thing I am worried about is coming out with Superman right out the gate. You are putting all your chips on that movie doing well.

Th3Batman
Th3Batman - 6/5/2023, 6:46 AM
This doesn't look good at all, and this is from someone who likes the various blue suits he's used over the years. The suit was simply not designed with colours in mind.

Bale really had the worst cowl.... Maybe a little better than Clooney but not by much

Nah. Doesn't work at all.

I once saw a '89 color scheme edit and it looked way better.

Honestly, it looks terrible. Far too shiny and I don’t think the ‘comic accurate’ colour scheme works on the Dark Knight suit. Maybe the blue and grey would’ve worked better with Bale’s Batman Begins suit as it’s a simpler, less busy suit?

Deklipz
Deklipz - 6/5/2023, 7:42 AM
Forget off whomever chose the glossy paint instead of a matte paint colors should be flogged. Taking that into consideration if the cowl/gloves/etc… were in a darker blue where it looked borderline black/dark grey in the shadows and a flatter grey across the suit it would help. Afflecks latest is a blue and grey and it works fine. It’s the shiny here that [frick]s it. Looks like robocop armor instead of Batman.
