The story for Arkham City takes place one year after the events of Arkham Asylum. Quincy Sharp, former warden of Arkham Asylum, has taken credit for stopping the Joker, and used that notoriety to become mayor of Gotham City. As neither Arkham nor Blackgate Prison are in any condition to hold inmates, Sharp buys out a large section of Gotham's slums and arms the perimeter with private military contractors from a group called Tyger in order to create "Arkham City". The prisoners are brought into Arkham City and are given free rein, as long as they do not attempt escape. To oversee the city, Sharp uses psychiatrist Hugo Strange who appears to have his own secret agenda for the city. Batman maintains a vigil over the city, worried that the situation may get out of hand. Part of the setup for "Arkham City" was contained in plans in a hidden room in Sharp's office in Arkham Asylum.

Batman: Arkham City is set to be released this Fall.

Cool. While I enjoyed his presence via radio in Arkham Asylum, I'm looking foward to being able to actually see him as well.

Seeing him adds something to for me.

nuck82 - People who don't like the riddler are people who don't understand him or don't even bother trying to understand him. So many people call him a Joker rip off but that couldn't be any further from the truth. Joker = chaos. Riddler = order.

Have to say, I'm disappointed with this look. Not sure what I was hoping to see but I just get the feeling it's not the best they could do. The game's still going to be groin grabbingly good!

Seems like they might be putting to many villains in this one. That might be a bad thing. I hope not

I hope this game has the option to play again with all the equip/stats you have when u beat it. Asylum didn't. Looks like a good 1 regardless!

@mikefont I agree he looks like John Glover & seeing he did his voice in BTAS, Is he the voice of the Riddler in this?

I doubt they would change the Riddler's voice actor from the first game, since his voice was such a driving force behind the first game.

I would have liked to see him be younger and more "clean cut", but nevertheless, it's still awesome.

Looks cool but I personally prefer the concept art look of him inArham Asylum or Joeph Gordon Levitt as a model! Levit= Classic Riddler

@daniellantern

Those are the type of comments that Ras'al'cool makes fun of, the people that no matter what even the director says they still think it might happen or are even positive it will still happen.

Example: Nolan says NO RIDDLER IN TDKR!!!!
but people still think JGL will be the Riddler.

@ movieman

Well good news is we no longer have to hear people sya "A very close source" or "Reliable source working with Chris Nolan confirmed Tom Hardy as Hugo Strange or Levitt as The Riddler because Hardy is Bane and Levitt is Alberto! Finally confirmation! :)
