Some people can understand Bane and some people can't. As many of you are aware, this resulted in some mildly annoying internet debate about whether Bane's voice would be tweaked in post-production [it will not]. Apparently, Tom Hardy shares our annoyance with the mask but for him, it was because he was the one that actually had to wear it. However, based on a few words from the actor, the mask didn't bother him too much. In fact, Hardy stated that eventually he got used to wearing the super-tight mask while filming The Dark Knight Rises.

Speaking at the premiere of, This Means War, Tom said: "Bane's mask is tight, actually. I got used to it, but you get used to anything really, in time."

Tom described Bane as "brutal" and "heavy-handed", but went on to say that he didn't remain in character for the duration of filming for TDKR and was able to separate himself from the role.

"I didn't get into a dark place at all. A lot of dark characters are easy to have distance from, it's something I feel comfortable with, I suppose."

Bane is such a big baby. Try doing dialogue while wearing a helmet with a plastic mouth cover.

I just noticed that the kicker for the opposing team is actually the Mayor of Pittsburgh Luke Ravenstahl. Not just his name on the jersey but that's him under the helmet. He uses that position to do everything but things an actual Mayor should do!!! What a clown!!!

Go Marveltards go!

"Marvel is for eternity." Because Spider-man hasn't been rebooted? What about Hulk? You think RDJ and all the actors will keep playing the same roles all their life? Marvel is going to have to re-cast and reboot eventually or branch out to lower tier characters.

It must really hurt Marveltards that Batman will be the best superhero trilogy and the best superhero movies for a while. That's why they have to gang up on Dark Knight articles saying the same thing over and over. You guys take comic book companies too seriously. DC isn't hurting by your comments. What you're really doing is being douchebags to other fans just because they like characters you don't like.

@redleaf and by responding to those comments by bashing the Marvel fans, you are no better.

Action fair enough... but that goes both ways... Nolanites should be ok with Marvelites expressing themselves as well.

@ TheGreenRanger - "Try doing dialogue while wearing a helmet with a plastic mouth cover."

Are you on about Power Rangers? Because none of the Rangers did dialogue in costume. It was, has and always will be dubbed over their stupid flailing limbs. Sorry to shatter the illusion.
