Only the main costumes are up for voting. No specialty costumes (as seen in "Batman Forever" and "Batman and Robin") were entered. Also only major motion pictures were used. So no animated or fan made movies were entered. Enjoy....

I know it's not a featured film, but "Batman: Dead End" was something special.
Thanks for putting something fun together.

Marvelguy@ I know! I thought about doing an out-n-out ONSCREEN Batman list because The Dead End Batman is My Favorite. I just know that there is a lot of Fan made stuff out there and I didn't want to have an incomplete list. Do you think I should do a Best Fanmade Batman Poll and then have the winners square off against one another in their own Poll? Let me Know.

Gaston@ I don't like the Dark Knight costume at all. It is the mask and cowl.....it makes him look like a living bobblehead.

Thanks for commenting guys

Gaston@ You should see the look on your face!
You know if you just add some fiber
to your diet that constipation might
ease up a little bit.

JK. I've been wanting to say something about your avatar for weeks. I think it's awesome. One of the more original ones. Later dude!

Bat-nipples costume of course. But seriously the Batman begins one is the best for me.

The Batman Begins outfit of course. It's the only one I could take seriously in real life.

@ROMACK

You should definitely do a "Best Fanmade Batman" Poll. It's a great idea

When I was younger and watched Batman & Robin, I never noticed the batnipples. yeesh, that's pretty bad. The Dark Knight suit was pretty good from a tactical standpoint but it didn't feel like it would seem like Batman.

@Romack,

I think that would overdo polling. I just threw that up there for everyone. Your poll is defined by feature. And I think we'd all agree that the original Batman serials could not be taken seriously...but Adam West could have been excluded. It has a very distinct place in history. Heck, Bill Murray was almost Batman because of Mr. West.

Begins all the way, I always felt one of the reason the Schumacher films failed is because they added onto the costume too much and it became too complex and not fear-instilling. TDK added onto Begins' costume, and that was an amateur mistake Nolan should have noticed. I understand making it so his neck can move, but he doesn't need to look like a freakin soldier. Keep It Simple Stupid!

Anil has a point. Without the nipples, the Batman Forever suit is pretty damn good.

I'm of the mind that TDK suit makes Bale look like a human Bobblehead.

Okay, check this out, check this out...
You take the batman costume from Batman begins, or take the one from Dark Knight (with the armor look toned down a bit), take the bat symbol from Batman Forever and put it on the chest, use the mask from George Clooney's costume in Batman and Robin but give it that maneuverability neck-thing like from Dark Knight, make the gauntlets the same as the ones from Dark Knight...and viola! G-Damn perfect!

i dont like the cowl in the dark knight i think the batman begins costume was prfect and the keaton's batman costume was a close second and adam west's costume was horrible
