It's always fun when a new Easter Egg is discovered in a movie, but the fact that it took so long for fans to spot this Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice one should probably come as no great surprise.
It is after all extremely obscure, but as you can see from the Tweets below, that broken window means more than you might think. That's because it's in the shape of the province of Ontario, the place where Superman co-creator Joe Shuster hails from. It's a nice nod to his Canadian background given the fact that he dreamed up one of America's biggest icons alongside the Cleveland born Jerry Siegel.
When a fan pointed out the Easter Egg to photographer Clay Enos, he confirmed that the shape in the glass is no coincidence and that Batman v Superman director Zack Snyder himself confirmed that it's legit. Will any more be discovered? For now, that remains to be seen, but keep you eyes peeled...
