BIRDS OF PREY: A Good Quality Version Of The New Teaser Trailer Has Leaked Online

It's not in English, but if you fancy taking a look at the teaser trailer for Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of one Harley Quinn) that's currently playing in theaters, right this way...

The first official teaser trailer for Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is now playing in front of It Chapter Two, and on the heels of a bunch of screenshots, a pretty good quality version has leaked online.

It's very brief, and if you've had a look through the images (see below) then you'll know exactly what to expect, but it's still worth a watch to see Harley (Margot Robbie) and co. in action to the strains of "Heads Will Roll" by Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Honestly, this barely qualifies as a teaser, but we have it on good authority that Warner Bros. won't be waiting too much longer to give fans a proper look at the movie, so stay tuned! In the meantime, check it out at the link below and let us know what you think.

Birds of Prey is set to swoop into theaters on February 7, 2020.

Harley Quinn

An awesome shot of Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn, who will sport a whole wardrobe of new outfits in this movie.

Suicide Squad was not particularly well received, but Robbie's take on HQ was a highlight for many, so it should be interesting to see how the character develops here without the oppressive presence of The Joker.

Black Canary

A new look at Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary.

We have seen various live-action and animated interpretations of Dinah Lance over the years, but Jurnee's take is expected to be something completely different. Will she sport the character's signature blond locks at any point? We may have to settle for the 'do she's sporting above!

Huntress

Fans have wanted to see Mary Elizabeth Winstead make the jump to the superhero genre for quite a while, so there's a lot of excitement surrounding her role as the ruthless Helena Bertinelli.

Fans of Huntress' comic book counterpart should probably expect some changes to that costume, but continue reading for a very pleasant surprise!

Renee Montoya

Rosie Perez's take on GCPD Detective Renee Montoya remains as much of a mystery as the rest of the new characters, but rumor has it she'll be assigned to track down Harley and the other Birds of Prey before ultimately deciding to join the team.

Montoya is pictured here with Black Canary and Huntress, who definitely appears to be sporting a mask of some description!

Black Mask

Black Mask (Ewan McGregor) will be the main villain of the film, and it's believed that Huntress, Canary, Harley and Montoya will team up to take him down when he kidnaps Cassandra Cain.

Sionis is pictured here either singing or shouting as Dinah performs in the background. Will he mask-up in the movie? We'll have to wait and see.

This film has me really intrigued for some reason, even though Suicide Squad is still in the back of my mind when I watch this teaser.

Finally watch Blade Runner 2049 as it's now on Netflix, and saw Leto take a villainous turn, and think how great a Joker he could have been if he dialled back the weirdness.

@SimplyAz - YES! Blade Runner 2049 is excellent, so happy you got to see it. iirc we had a conversation about it some time ago on this site?
And agreed; I normally dislike Leto, but he was good in BR 2049.

@tmp3 -

Yeah I remember talking with you about it on here. It was an interesting film for sure, a lot of stuff in there and had a lot going on.
Arrival is still my Denis Villeneuve film by far though, felt like it just worked more for me.

I haven't seen many films with Leto, so his take on Joker will forever be in the back of my mind when I see him, but thought he was very sinister in BR2049

Why is the color grade of that leak so [frick]ing bad? Who decided to put that weird tint over it.
The test screenings for this are apparently great, but you look on here it sounds like it's Dark Phoenix or something (a movie that was bombing its test screenings). It'd be funny if this ends up good.

@tmp3 - To be fair, Ayer's Suicide Squad struck a chord with a not-insignificant-sized audience, and it was quite a mess. And this movie looks to be aiming directly at that audience again (this time knowing what they want), so I expect it will be reasonably successful.

People around here may ultimately hate both movies equally, but it's still a far cry from Dark Phoenix that had no real clue who it was targeting or what it was saying. Trashy does not necessarily mean trash.

Also, as much as you guys shit on this it's still gonna be 10x better than that [frick]ing Flash movie with Ezra Miller. THAT's gonna be Fant4stic-level bad.

When the media & general public say "What happens when superhero fatigue sets in?" This is what they're talking about. While franchises like The Boys reignite the genre. Companies like Sony and Warner Brothers keep staining the genre with trash like this & Venom.

How many articles are we going to get for the leaked version before it's finally released officially by WB?!

And since it already has leaked (and in HQ as well), why hasn't WB released it yet?!
