Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is shaping up to be a very different movie to what most of us expected, as it appears the focus will be more on Harley Quinn (just look at the title) than the group from the comic books, which sadly won't include Barbara Gordon/Batgirl.

Regardless, it's definitely intriguing, and seeing this kick ass group of women squaring off with Black Mask promises to be a lot of fun.

Now, a pretty cool new logo for Birds of Prey has been revealed, and it's quite possibly the one that'll be used to promote the upcoming DC Comics adaptation (we've seen a few different versions so far).

Warner Bros. is no doubt hoping that this will be a big hit and Harley Quinn's involvement is bound to generate a great deal of interest. Whether comic book fans will be happy with what is quite clearly a new take on the team is hard to say, but the big screen debuts of characters like Huntress and Black Canary is long overdue and very exciting.
