BIRDS OF PREY Reshoots Are Now Underway As Harley Hitches A Ride From Huntress In New Set Photos

Reshoots for Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) are now underway, and some photos from the set give us a look at Margot Robbie filming an action sequence on roller-skates.

Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is currently undergoing reshoots, and a tonne of photos from the set have found their way online via Just Jared.

John Wick director Chad Stahelski is overseeing additional photography, and it probably won't come as a surprise that he can be seen helming an action sequence here.

The scene appears to feature Harley (Margot Robbie) hitching a ride from a character on a motorcycle while rocking a pair of roller-skates. The black-clad figure's face is obscured, but judging by the outfit and modified helmet, we reckon it's The Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead).

Check out the pics at the link below, and in case you missed them we also have some screenshots from the new teaser. Birds of Prey is set to swoop into theaters on February 7, 2020.

Harley Quinn

An awesome shot of Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn, who will sport a whole wardrobe of new outfits in this movie.

Suicide Squad was not particularly well received, but Robbie's take on HQ was a highlight for many, so it should be interesting to see how the character develops here without the oppressive presence of The Joker.

Black Canary

A new look at Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary.

We have seen various live-action and animated interpretations of Dinah Lance over the years, but Jurnee's take is expected to be something completely different. Will she sport the character's signature blond locks at any point? We may have to settle for the 'do she's sporting above!

Huntress

Fans have wanted to see Mary Elizabeth Winstead make the jump to the superhero genre for quite a while, so there's a lot of excitement surrounding her role as the ruthless Helena Bertinelli.

Fans of Huntress' comic book counterpart should probably expect some changes to that costume, but continue reading for a very pleasant surprise!

Renee Montoya

Rosie Perez's take on GCPD Detective Renee Montoya remains as much of a mystery as the rest of the new characters, but rumor has it she'll be assigned to track down Harley and the other Birds of Prey before ultimately deciding to join the team.

Montoya is pictured here with Black Canary and Huntress, who definitely appears to be sporting a mask of some description!

Black Mask

Black Mask (Ewan McGregor) will be the main villain of the film, and it's believed that Huntress, Canary, Harley and Montoya will team up to take him down when he kidnaps Cassandra Cain.

Sionis is pictured here either singing or shouting as Dinah performs in the background. Will he mask-up in the movie? We'll have to wait and see.
