Warner Bros./New Line recently released the first trailer for Black Adam, and while the footage mainly focused on Dwayne Johnson's titular antihero, we also got a few glimpses of the super-team known as the Justice Society (or JSA) in action.

Now, a new promo poster and some merchandise art for the movie has been shared online, giving us another look at Teth Adam alongside Hawkman (Aldis Hodge), Cyclone (Quintessa Swindell), Atom Smasher (Noah Centineo) and Dr. Fate (Pierce Brosnan).

It's generally assumed that Adam will wind up joining forces with the JSA to combat a larger threat, but we know they will find themselves at odds beforehand, and it looks like we will get to see a face-off between "The Man in Black" and Hawkman (at the very least).

Check out the new artwork below along with the trailer.

"From New Line Cinema, Dwayne Johnson stars in the action adventure Black Adam. The first-ever feature film to explore the story of the DC Super Hero comes to the big screen under the direction of Jaume Collet-Serra (“Jungle Cruise”). Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the ancient gods— and imprisoned just as quickly—Black Adam (Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world."

Johnson stars alongside Aldis Hodge (City on a Hill, One Night in Miami) as Hawkman, Noah Centineo (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before) as Atom Smasher, Sarah Shahi (Sex/Life, Rush Hour 3) as Adrianna, Marwan Kenzari (Murder on the Orient Express, The Mummy) as Ishmael, Quintessa Swindell (Voyagers, Trinkets) as Cyclone, Bodhi Sabongui (A Million Little Things) as Amon, and Pierce Brosnan (the Mamma Mia! and James Bond franchises) as Dr. Fate.

Black Adam will be released nationwide on 21st October 2022 by Warner Bros. Pictures.

I hate this red poster campaign they have been doing since the release of the Batman. It’s just as ugly as the MCU’s 10 year anniversary posters

Cinematic quality looks good, but the lack of cool moments in the teaser/trailers make me think this won’t be the Black Adam we were hoping for. I thought this could be a cool movie if they go the mean guy anti hero route but this is starting to look Hancock anti hero silly each time I watch the trailer.

@slickrickdesigns - Maybe they're saving the cool moments for the release. After all, why would u want to see the best parts of the movie before its release? Too many trailers do that anyway.

Wooow imagine my surprise when the poster wasn’t just the rock doing the eyebrow thing and smiling like “hey I am the most paid actor today and I don’t even know how to act”

@URLMae - Black Adam feels like an ego project for Dwayne the same way BoP was for Margott.

The DCEU seems to be full of those ego projects

@Blergh - completely agree, what a waste of time, money, resources and talent was BOP

They put a mask over Noah Centineo's face, that's a good sign they'll also dub over his voice. They'd be doing everyone a favor.

Ok, not bad.

A perfectly serviceable and neat poster.

I’m just surprised that Johnson agreed to share the poster with the other cast members.

It's a nice poster. The only thing that makes me question it a little is the focus they have so far on showcasing more Pierce Brosnan's Kent Nelson himself and not when he puts on the Helmet of Fate to become Doctor Fate.
