Black Adam recently got a new release date (July 29th, 2022) and cameras are expected to begin rolling any day now. The delays have given the movie's cast more time to train, though, and star Aldis Hodge has made it clear that he's in fighting shape to play Hawkman in the DC Comics adaptation.
Taking to Instagram, The Invisible Man star shared a jaw-dropping workout photo with the caption: "Making progress everyday. Almost where I need to be. The adjustments to eating, sleeping and training aren’t always easy. And my body is fighting pain and soreness every day, but I’m loving it! I can’t meet my full potential until I step outside of my comfort zone. So imma keep on steppin."
Hodge was cast as Hawkman last September, and there's a lot of excitement surrounding what he'll bring to the role. The character has been around since 1941 and is better known as Carter Hall, an archaeologist who is the reincarnation of ancient Egyptian prince Khufu.
The rest of the Black Adam cast includes Dwayne Johnson, Noah Centineo, Quintessa Swindell, Pierce Brosnan, Marwan Kenzaria, and Sarah Shahi.
