I was just thinking about how Da 5 Bloods kinda disappointed a little bit on first watch because I felt like I missed Chadwick and just wanted to see more of him. His death has really amplified that feeling for me. Just really [frick]ing sad, man. But what a legacy to leave behind.

That's awesome. Honestly the best thing about Black Panther is not because it was a lead black actor with a black cast, cause there's been plenty of those. It was that for the first time there was on the big screen a purely African mythological epic - something that any black child could look to and see themselves a part of. Us Americans with European heritage have plenty of those tales and myths, and those are good things that are important to culture. And black Americans can enjoy those too, but to a lesser degree probably. It's much harder to embrace something you don't identify as your heritage. But an Afro-centric fantasy that rivals any other epic, and shows Africans in a strong, positive light is so necessary and so lacking. It's good to celebrate when these things happen.

Long live the King.

Can someone tell me if this was a real image taking by a camera or fan art? I swear I’ve seen it before!

Regardless, what a gorgeous memorial to remember a short lived legend to the genre!

The amount of respect Disney is giving to The Late Chadwick Boseman sure is touching.
