BLACK PANTHER Funko Pops Reveal Another Awesome New Costume For T'Challa

The first wave of Funko Pop figures for Marvel's Black Panther have been released and as well as featuring a fresh look at the movie's huge cast, we get to see T'Challa sporting a very cool new costume...

Now that Thor: Ragnarok is in theaters, the next Marvel Studios movie on the way is Black Panther. As a result, Marvel Studios is shifting its attention to that and Funko has today unveiled an awesome series of Funko Pop figures. As you can see, there are a couple of very cool Chase variants for T'Challa and Erik Killmonger along with glow and the dark Pops only available from certain Target stores.

Black Panther, meanwhile, is rocking a very different sort of costume which presumably comes from that battle he has with Killmonger early on in the movie. Surprisingly, there's no sign of Ulysses Klaue or a number of other supporting characters but those will presumably be in the second wave.

It's thought that Marvel will release the first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War before 2017 is over but we'll no doubt get one more look at Black Panther before then too. Which character are you most excited to see in action when the movie is released next February? Share your thoughts down below.

@BlindWedjat - the cinematography and set design for this scene looks IMMACULATE

@BlackBeltJones - When this movie was still in production and we hadn't seen anything of it, I was basing my expectations around films like The Winter Soldier, Civil War, Wonder Woman and the Thor films (excluding Ragnarok). But the cinematography looks BOLDER than all of those. Like it's not afraid to be what it is

@BlindWedjat - me too. I imagined something along the lines of the production and set design from the Thor flicks, Cap and even GOTG.

This has a distinct look. Very ornate and regal. World feels new and yet lived in. Feels real. Im sure part of that is due to Coogler using the cinematographer and art director from his two previous films.

@LoganMjolnir - Are either of these the one from Civil War? Or are they both new for this film?

Why does his suit have blue when the trailer showed him having purple?

So it is called "Gold Panther Suit", not "Golden Jaguar Suit". I'm relieved, that seemed too much of an inconsistency to be true.

It is also funny that Shuri served as temporary Queen of Wakanda in verge of the return of her brother.
