BLACK PANTHER: Killmonger Will Rock A Golden Version Of T'Challa's Suit In The Movie

More details from the Black Panther footage shown at Comic-Con have been revealed while star Michael B. Jordan has compared the dynamic between T'Challa and Killmonger to another big superhero franchise...

Marvel Studios released only a single trailer from their Comic-Con panel with the new Avengers: Infinity War and Black Panther teasers remaining exclusive to Hall H attendees. One new tidbit which is now doing the rounds, however, is the fact the latter video ended with a shot of Michael B. Jordan's Erik Killmonger wearing a golden version of T'Challa's suit with a headpiece compared to a jaguar

Entertainment Weekly spoke with Jordan about the suit and while the actor refused to reveal any details, actress Letitia Wright - who plays Shuri, T'Challa's sister and the one responsible for Wakanda's tech - said,
"there’s some intelligent brains behind that creation." Does she betray her brother?

We'll see, but Jordan quickly switched topics to explain his character's relationship with the King of Wakanda in Black Panther and compared their dynamic to Professor X and Magneto's. "
Me and T’Challa have two totally different approaches to the throne as well and you see those two opposing sides clash. So you can call it a Magneto/Professor X type of chemistry. That’s all I can give away."

It's going to be a lot of fun seeing how things play out here and both T'Challa and Killmonger wearing these powerful nanotech costumes should make for an awesome final battle. What do you think?

That would fit.
Hero seemingly always fights a evil version of himself in first film.

Im hyped for this movie... but I feel like it's standard comic book territory for the hero to face off against a different version of themselves.

Really excited to see how they expand Black Panther's mythology. Wonder if they'll have material to make a trilogy...

@MrBillCipher - if he survives (you never know with Marvel) he might come back as white wolf. Like maybe this is a prototype made for Tchalla by wakandan scientists and Killmonger steals it for the finak confrontation but loses it and then has the white wolf suit developed next time

Could Marvel make the first movie based on African myth and lore that will be a blockbuster? Never was a black panther fan, but seeing them try to use Africa as a back drop and using it as a mystical place really seems interesting and fresh. What other Africa based summer type movies have there been? Lion King? Congo? Black panther may be a trendsetter
