Ahead of his appearance at the red carpet world premiere, Chadwick Boseman dropped by Jimmy Kimmel Live and debuted another new clip from Marvel's Black Panther, featuring even more action-packed new footage from the upcoming Ryan Coogler-directed blockbuster.

The clip isn't all that revealing, but we do get an early preview of an epic battle between T'Challa and the villain of the piece, Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan), who according to many of the early reactions is one of the film's major highlights. However, if you're trying to avoid spoilers, then it may be best to skip it for now.

Check out the new clip below:

Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.

Very questionable CGI there. It's not a HQ clip, could be an old clip and unfinished, but still, not that great. Hopefully it doesn't ruin what looks like a great third act. I'm still very hyped for the film though.

Watched a fee seconds. I'm hyped as hell but the CGI is bad. Hope this aspect of the fight is brief.

Going dark now.

Omg, the feline roars and growls mixed into the sound effects is so [frick]ing gooood!!!!

This... this is awesome.

Ok, the CGI is a little much, but I've seen clips released with shoddy CGI that were touched up, or at least better in context, in the actual film.

Still hyped af. This comes out on my birthday!!

I think it's really just the way they're moving that looks weird. It's a bit too smooth to feel real. The effects of both suits look good enough I think. I also like the aesthetic choices in the design of the train station which looks cool. I hope everything looks a bit better because none of the first reactions mentioned the CGI as a negative.

@BlindWedjat - One of my best friends who works for NBCUniversal (the one who gives me his wife's spot to premieres when she doesn't care about the movie), has seen it already, and I'm seeing it again with him the 7th at night. I usually agree with him on everything regarding superhero movies, and when I asked him what his thoughts were in a single sentence, he said and I quote "The CGI in some scenes is shameful for a Marvel movie, so it's only a 9.5/10 for me" lol Which means the movie is phenomenal but a whole 5 minutes will probably look cheap. I'll take it.

It's interesting how all the Marvel movies this year are coming out really close to each other. August to March is going to be lonely. Not that I would want Ant-Man to be pushed to November though.

@ForDarkseid - Not all the time. 2016 and 2017 both had movies starting in May and ending in November.

CGI is rough, but I doubt it's a big part of the movie because the costume and fight sequences look seamless for the most part. This is the only part of the movie where it looks "too much". Any time he's doing crazy flips, the CGI is hard to convince me, and they're doing a lot of EXTRA shit here. And even then, dodgy CGI aside, if I care about the characters and some of the choreography is infused, I can still get invested in the fight.
