Secret Wars has been a lot of fun.

Can't wait to see Reed and Doom face off.

I haven't really been following Secret Wars. Can anybody tell me why Doctor Doom is for whatever reason a good guy now?

@Animal2915

Doom isn't good, he's literally god now of all the universes. That's how big his ego is.

@Animal2915
Because he saved all the people of Earth from being wiped out of existence. He's not at all that great at playing God, but I gotta admit, he is the hero of this story. Nobody else realizes that though. We've got a Tucker and Dale vs Avengers situation brewing.

I'm hoping Red Skull gets in on this Doomfight. I am loving him as a heroic figure right now.

Loving this series
I want the Cabal to have their own ongoing series, with ultimate Reed.
Truly a bunch of a-holes.

If Doom is a good guy then why did he alter Sue Storms memories to make her not remember Reed and also make her think she is Doom's lover. Would that not make Doom a Rap...

@starkillerkch That's not actually Sue. The real 616 Sue, Valeria, and Franklin died in an explosion on board Reed's "arc" ship in Secret Wars #1.

That version of Sue and her children were created by Doom on Battleworld.

@starkillerkch
Yeah, that's Doom being Doom, but still Sue wouldn't even be alive if not for him. Nobody would. I give a god a little more leeway than a dictator.

No, it will not make him a rap-artist.

liking Secret Wars, but haven't really been reading the tie-ins, any of the worth picking up?

@leethario

Only the Civil War one, its written by Charles Soule and drawn by Lienel Yu and it's pretty much the only good version of that story. I'd have recommended Old Man Logan, but Bendis put that character in some stupid AoA knock off universe and killed it right then and there.

Several are good. Most are weak. Check out Thors, Old Man Logan, Battleworld, Future Imperfect, Xtinction Agenda, Secret Wars Journal, and Marvel Zombies.

I've been keeping up with Secret Wars. First things first. It's taking way too long. I'm starting to get bored waiting for the main story to progress. I can't stand Susan Storm and her kids. Too many X-men titles to even bother with. There are some tie-ins worth reading (Old Man Logan, Amazing Spiderman: Renew Your Vows, Future Imperfect, '92 X-Men, Guardians of Nowhere, Planet Hulk, Civil War, Runaways, The Infinity Gauntlet & Ultimate End).

S/N I think the Silver Surfer series spoiled the ending of this event slightly.

Secret Wars is EPIC! IMO the tie ins to read are: Wereworld (amazing), Last Days of Punisher, Spiderman Renew Your Vows, Red Skull, Agent of Hydra, Planet Hulk, Thors, The Demon X-Men tie in with Colossus, Old Man Logan, Inhumans, MODOK Assasin, Days of Future, gosh a ton of them are great. Easier to name off the lame ones. Wereworld to me is the one to read
