...so, where are the Avengers villains?

Red Skull is a Captain America villain.
Attuma is a Sub-Mariner villain.
MODOK and AIM have fought multiple solo heroes.
Loki is a Thor villain.

I know all these guys have duked it out with the Avengers as a team before, but I don't think of them as Avengers villains. I was expecting the likes of Kang, Ultron, or The Grim Reaper.

Art isn't bad. Hate Falcon's costume though. Needs an upgrade.

@AlexanderLykins... What's wrong with his left arm? What's wrong with his Right arm as well? Also, why is his head so big, and why is Widow's head SUPER big? Someone rushed this to print. There are other minor issues here, but Hawk and Widow have some major proportion problems. Art Police Assemble!

@darklighter1... Just because someone can put tones and shading on muscles doesn't mean they make great art. Comic book or not. I don't think it's too much to ask for artists to apply what is taught in a Drawing 1 class.

The arm is wonky, yeah, but it was probably shortened/fudged on purpose to make Hawkeye's bow fit into the shot. Sometimes artists bend the rules for storytelling purposes. Like Batman with a 50ft long cape, or how necks lengthen cartoonishly when people get punched. These artists do a damn good job for people on a deadline. Look past it.

That has got to be Tom Raney's worst drawing to date!

@rabid... I do understand your points, and I somewhat agree. The issue I take here is that during all my years I spent being trained as an artist, I know firsthand that almost every drawing course requires you to have a sketchbook. In one semester, we would fill anywhere from 3 to 6 books filled with sketches. We were never without a sketchbook and we were drawing all the time. This was all to become fast and accurate at drawing the human form from every angle. Any illustrator who makes a living drawing people should have no problem drawing an arm. To say it was done on purpose to fit in frame, well my response to that would be that the artist chose poor framing. Placement and framing is also something rammed down your throat in art education at every level. My point is, these are amateur mistakes.

Widow can't be bothered to look where she's shooting, Iron Man looks like he's shooting statues, yeah, Barton's arm...

Cap looks like he's trying to punch Skull's hand. What is Skull's right leg doing anyway?

I agree with you. I think he chose poor framing, but had a deadline so he kept going with his first draft. LOL. I do it all the time. I've also never had to cram 15 people into a fight scene. I'm not impressed by Raney's anatomy, but I think he's a great storyteller, which is what matters most to me. At least he's not a pose-tracer like half these modern artists.

But still, it's a cover, not an interior, so I get everyone's point. Clean it up, Raney!
