COMICS: Is A New DC Title Called "THE ROBINS" On The Way?

A report from Bleeding Cool indicates that Jeff Lemire (Animal Man) might be writing a new series featuring all incarnations of Batman's Boy Wonder sidekick..

Anyone who has been reading DC's Batman And Robin will know that the comic has been featuring the current and previous incarnations of Robin quite frequently. But we may well be on the way to seeing a spin off Bat-book with those characters, minus The Caped Crusader, and written by the awesome Jeff Lemire..

I understand, from a well placed source, that the current tittle tattle around the Batbooks is that Jeff Lemire will write a new series entitled The Robins, starring Damien, Jason, Tim and Dick.

In Batman And Robin #5 the villain Nobody sets about driving a wedge between Bruce and Damien. Could this lead to a parting of ways for a time while he and his red breasted companions team up? This is just a rumor for now but BC tend to be fairly spot on with these things so my money is on this happening. Updates as and when we know for certain.

Correction: adding this to those series and Aquaman. Seriously, if you're not reading that book right now, you're missing out.

I think Grayson was the best Robin. Nightwing is bad-ass

nightwing is badass but as a robin grayson was lame. its not his fault though, it was just the writing of the time. jason todd wasn't even that good at the time even though i think he is awesome as red hood. Tim was the best just because he is more modern and the writting wasn't as cartoony as it was then. its so funny to me that they didn't use thought bubbles way back in the day, i dont know what comics would be like to me if they didn't have inner monologue.

oh yea, but i was going to say that it could be a cool book, i wonder it it would just be different stories from each robin, or show parallels of the robins lives, or have them actually do a team up.

It should be called " Bat's Brats"

It could be good if they eliminated all the others solo titles....

They should stick to calling him Richard Grayson. There are so many puns for a name like "Dick" lol

That sounds awesome. It is about time Tim is a good character again, the NewDCU has really just made him an all around weak character.

@OdinsBeard. Jason Todd still has his own title, its called Red Hood and the Outlaws. Its him as the leader, Arsenal, and Starfire, who is now a super slut and everyone in the world who doesn't know about comics complains about it because she became popular on teen titans and some little girls like her, so people buy there kids any title with her in it even if it is rated Teen or above, then they bitch about it because there kid shouldn't read it, and it is the writers fault.

Sorry, I ranted a little. But the Red hood title is actually pretty good, it goes into Jason's past a little more after he was brought back to life. He did some super mystic training and is a bad ass who is going around now to kill an imortal race of douche bags.

I concur, bring back all star batman and robin, it was excellent, and if you didn't like it, then you are not a frank miller or a batman fan. which makes you kinda lame.
