"This all started with an accident..."An all-new corner of The Gold Key Universe! Flooded with experimental radiation that grants him unbelievable powers, the brilliant-and-obsessive Dr. Phil Seleski seeks to unlock the secrets of the universe, begrudgingly becoming a "hero" along the way. But can a single man be trusted with near-limitless abilities? What will this mean to the ones he loves?

Story: Frank J. Barbiere.

Artwork: Joe Bennett.

Cover: Juan Doe.

Released: April 16. 32 pages and priced $3.99.

LEE777 - Now Solar's published by Dynamite comics personally I would love to see him crossover with say the Six Million Dollar Man or The Shadow, Green Hornet, Vampirella, well any of them?

I just realized how limited my comic book knowledge really is. Because when I saw the Thumbnail, I thought it was Cyclops.

Doop @ :p

Dio @ Your getting sore, what about me? : D

@ Oh yeah, does look like Cyclops a bit, maybe that's why some of you clicked in, heh heh.

I got most of Solar's original run (well Valiant ones I mean). Gotta say I'm going to buy this baby, see what Dynamite does with him.

Talking Dynamite, check out MASKS, loved that series!

Oh the Cyclops' twin has a book out now? Just in time for Cyke's solo outing too how appropriate. :-P

I remember reading something not too long ago about both Solar and The Xmen coming out around in such a time frame that really suggests the similar look is completely a coincidence and neither actually ripped off from the other.

Don't have much to say on Solar honestly but the artwork does look good.

This guy & Firestorm can rearrange atoms or something right?
If so,these guys are crazy powerful & few if any could defeat them.
They could just turn you into a puddle.
Marvel has Molocule Man who can rearrange molocules of stuff,he too is nearly invincible.
