Dark Horse Comics has announced a new three-issue miniseries based on the popular Disney animation Frozen. The miniseries, titled Disney Frozen, will release this August. Disney Zootopia Comics and Disney DuckTales: Treasure Trove writer Joe Caramagna and artists from the Kawaii Creative Studio will work on the series.

Here's the synopsis for issue #1:

Disney Frozen #1 finds Queen Elsa and Princess Anna trying to get to the bottom of things when the peace of their beloved kingdom is disrupted. There's a wild animal loose in the village, destruction in the forest, and unrest brewing in a nearby kingdom. Luckily, Elsa and Anna will have the help of Olaf, Kristoff . . . and a mysterious, adventurous young woman to restore peace in their kingdom.

The first issue of Disney Frozen is scheduled for a summer 2018 release, 18 months before the release of Frozen 2 in theaters in November 2019. Dark Horse and Disney will announce additional comics in the coming months.

A mysterious, adventurous young woman. With the rumor that Elsa might be LGBT this makes me wonder. On the other hand why would they introduce Elsa's possible future girlfriend in a comic that not a lot of people are gonna read instead of Frozen 2? Heck non of this might be true, Elsa might not be a Lesbian or Bi. I mean a lot of those rumors about The Last Jedi weren't true.
