Alan Moore, the famous comic book writer known for refusing to endorse adaptations of his work in the comic book industries reveal that not even millions of dollars will not make him change his mind.

According to an article on Digital Spy and DC Comics contacted the former writer for offering his support for the new Watchmen series that serves as a prequel to the original Wathcmen limited series of 1986 that Moore worked on with artist Dave Gibbons.

Allan Moore was Quoted as the following

"They asked me if they could give me a huge amount of money to bring out these Watchmen prequel comics - which they were going to do anyway - and that was probably a couple of million dollars."

"You can't buy that kind of empowerment. To just know that as far as you are aware, you have not got a price; that there is not an amount of money large enough to make you compromise even a tiny bit of principle that, as it turned out, would make no practical difference anyway."

Alan Moore has been acclaimed for his work in comic book series. Among some of his most popular works are Watchmen, V for Vendetta, and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
