meh, Manhunter is one of the real JLA. Cyborg ain't

I agree with MrSuperheromoviefan. Cyborg adds NOTHING to this team. Manhunter would.

I don't like the seams on Supes costume....they're just...awkward. WW needs those black pants back. I agree, Cyborg does not belong on this team. If they wanted diversity, they should have used the John Stewart GL and added Martian Manhunter. They could have kept Hal Jordan in space...

They are afraid to show the stole Supermans shorts and his arrow belt pointing at his crotch. Thats why Superman is in that position

SEAMS ON SUPERHEROS PLACED ON THEM SO THAT THEY CAN BE TRANSLATED TO FILM BETTER, BECAUSE THEY ALL EVENTUALLY END UP THERE.

Please don't tell me there young again! I like a bit of gruff on the heroes, they're not pre-pubescent kids.

the team is a good line up but there something wrong with it.cyborg is not worthy of being on the team.

Yup Cyborg dont look right...its clear why he is on the team...DC are just trying to be more PC and really if you look at past incarnations of the Justice League they dont have many ethnic minorities on the team...

Steel would have been a better choice...

Although I swing more towards Marvel comics I do really love the DCU and have read loads of their comics...Crisis on infinite earths was one of the greatest crossovers of all time...

And now DC are sullying this by going ahead with this f'in reboot...relaunch...ahhh dang whatever the fook they are calling it...

I give this 1 year before they realise this new timeline is not working and everything is reset to the original continuity...

Aqua"man" looks like hes part of a boy band. If the main "adult" characters are so darn young and practically kids themselves the Teen Titans must start at age 11 now ;/

what will happen is Cyborg has something to do with the change, and a story with him involved with occur on down the line and everything will reset to the original continuity like SuperSomething616 said. also i agree with GUNSMITH, the costumes are all "movie ready" if you will

They look young cause they ARE young. The first story arc is a retelling of the first meeting of the JLA. Then they will move into the modern era to tell some stories. I'm going to NYCC I can't wait!

WTH is up with Aquaman...I prefer seeing him with the beard. He looks to juvenile.

I don't think I've seen much artwork showing Superman with the new belt. It's like they're embarrassed that they got their @$$as haned to them in a lawsuit. Older fans are probably (the ones who don't know about that stupid lawsuit)are probably going to be a little confused when they realize that the only things left from the traditional interpretation of Superman are the 'S', the spitcurl, and his powers. No mention of Krypton anymore.

What a crappy artist. They look like kids, and Wonder Woman looks like she's ate one too many lead paint chips.

Wtf why did they put Wonder Woman back in those stupid panties?! I thought she was gonna be wearing pants!

w8tng2die - 8/3/2011, 8:36 AM
agree with cherrybomb, gold looks way better on WW than silver, looks very plain.. and they should have kept the pants or at least tried it for a while..
venkman83
venkman83 - 8/3/2011, 8:37 AM
oOOooOo they put extra seam lines on costumes, made everyone look younger, and are being indecisive on wonder womans costume. other than all that, all these jla pics look like the ones before.

1 YEAR UNTIL DC RESETS,REBOOTS,REFRESHES...eh whatever their writers have ADD. "oh lets start over and do this. let's forget that and make this. oh oh how about we make this that way."

naterator
naterator - 8/3/2011, 8:40 AM
as much as i dont like the revamp...i do understand unlike others that this is a JLA BEGINNINGS...thats why they all look younger. i think as soon as people understand that then they will learn to accept it just as they have impossibly accepted WW new pants and Supes lack there of.

Sorry guess we just gotta knock some sense into eachother sometimes...

DC vs Marvel

Come on! What woman would put on panties to fight crime ??
w8tng2die
w8tng2die - 8/3/2011, 8:42 AM
almost all the tweaks they did doesn't look good to me..

cyborg.. obvious token character, and doesn't deserve to be in the primary team..

blue briefs and "armor" suit for superman looks stupid..

silver on wonderwoman, lame..

aquaman looks like freaking nick carter..

this just all seems like a very bad idea..

this looks better than Finch's variant. WW still needs gold and she still looks like a whore haha!

Did you guys forget that Wonder woman has had panties for over 70 years? And now you complain when they are staying true to her old style.
MikeHawk
MikeHawk - 8/3/2011, 9:18 AM
in Finch's drawing, she really did look like one with that choker on her. im still confused about that controversy as well. i didnt care she had pants and now that DC is listening to the fans saying they want undies back, the fans suddenly want pants back. ugh
