Ok, I'm going to blunt... I've never picked up any New 52 comics since D.C. launched (never saw the point). So, that being said... why does The Joker look like Leatherface to me? Did someone shoot him in the face? Did he want to make himself more frightening and grotesque? I just don't get it.

Same old DC shit, build up a young protoge character then kill them off sensationally to sell a few extra comics. Then they'll find some ridiculous way to bring them back to life if needed otherwise they reappear when the whole universe goes through another dumb reboot in their mess of a multiverse shit. This stuff gets so predictable its beyond boring and fit only for landfill!

I think the Joker will finally meet his end in this story line, simply because he's finally admitted to knowing who Batman is and who the entire Bat family are... He wouldn't have done that unless he truly believed he'd be able to push Batman far enough to finally get him to Kill the joker. Joker is precise, calculating and viscous. His ultimate plan isn't to kill Batman, it's to turn Batman into him.

No not any redheads (a couple brunettes) I still dont think Barbara has the skill to do it, at least without Joker killing her too.

As if they would ever truly KILL the Joker. He's done enough stuff to Batman and his associates over the years that you'd think one of them would finally do it, but it doesn't happen, and even if it DID, it would only be temporary because DC is making too much money off of him. If anyone would do it, I could see Jason Todd doing it, if his near-death beating by Joker is still in continuity.

This "new DC" was a huge marketing mistake. It should have been approached as DC's version of the ultimate universe, allowing for different versions of familiar characters while leaving the classic ones alone for their fans.

im very interested in seeing what happens to, how'd he say it "bats, cats, birds and brats." I've grabbed every tie-in so far. The story arc all together is very impressive. Great timing and teamwork with all the writers in the bat books. Best i can remember since Knightfall.
