If you've been enjoying James Robinson's run on Earth 2 or have been yearning for some new blood, it should interest you to know that the series gets a new scribe with this week's issue. Tom Taylor, writer of the acclaimed comic book tie-in for the Injustice: Gods Among Us video game, brings his vision to the universe two doors over. Expect to see more of the new Batman, an evil Superman, and a radically new interpretation of Red Tornado (seen below).

"This is a much darker, much stronger, much more violent Batman driven by something else entirely. He is willing to do things Earth 1 Batman would never consider," Taylor told USA Today.

Earth 2 #17 written by Tom Taylor and illustrated by Nicola Scott is available Wednesday. Check back later in the week because I may include it in my review list.
