• Who is Orion — and what are the New Gods?!
• Massive changes are coming for Wonder Woman and the entire DC Universe!
• Get ready for round 1 of Wonder Woman vs. Orion!

I'm a huge fan of this particular Kirby creation and I'm extremely interested in seeing how prominent the New Gods will become in the DCnU and what role they'll play in the upcoming Trinity War. With characters such as Pandora, Phantom Stranger and The Spectre teased as playing a factor in the miniseries it will be interesting to see what impact other cosmic characters will have.

There is actually an artist that specifies in art like this. He tries to portray major comic events as reflections in helmets, eyes, or equipment

@Thunderforce
Her mother is Hippolyta and her father is Zeus. She was raised to think that her mother made her from clay and the tryst between Zeus and the Queen of the Amazons was kept a secret so Hera wouldn't try to kill baby Diana.

@Thunderforce - Diana is a demigod, Hippolyta is human and Zeus is a god.
You're really missing out on some great stories in this new Wonder Woman!

Orion is on Darkseid's level. WW ain't.

She's absolutely on Supermans level

WW is close to Superman's level only because of her fighting skills, power wise she is like a step below. The power levels in the new DC 52 still haven't been totally defined, but we know certain characters will be at the top.

I hope they don't change the New Gods to much where we do not recognize them. They couldn't mess with Darkseid too much he pretty much seems the same as before.

Azzarello's take on Wonder Woman is pretty much the best thing happening in superhero comics at the moment, as far as I'm concerned.

@SteveRogersSon, I agree, it seems that the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing at DC. A character can be portrayed one way in his/her own title, then written a whole different way in another.

Of course Wonder Woman is near Superman's level

Maybe better when she uses Zeus's powers?
