Jason Rusch and Ronnie Raymond. These two high school students are worlds apart; and now they're drawn into a conspiracy of super-science that bonds them forever in a way they can't explain or control. character is great because of what he can do so it will depend on the writing. Simone on a second tier character might turn out good, gotta wait and see.

See, this I don't get: you make the whole universe edgy, "cool" and Firestorm keeps his puffy shirt...

I like the character, curious to see were they will take him/them.

I read Firestorm when it first came out in the late 70s. I mildly enjoyed the series a few years ago but I am not planning to buy this piece of junk.

Maybe in a few years DC will re introduce the "Classic" Firestorm.

This looks good to me. I have faith in Gail but I doubt she will stay on the books long, she seems to really like writing anti hero characters. \

I wish someone like Mark Waid was on this title he's really good with science and technology stuff.

i dug/tolerated the character in Brightest Day, was cool.

but this reboot hasn't done much to increase my dc pulls.

used to be my box was 60% DC, 20% Marvel, 10% Dark Horse, & 10% Image/TopCow.

Now its 80% Marvel, 10% Dark Horse, & 10% Image/TopCow.

Fewer books yes, smaller hole in my pocket yes, i did enjoy animal man & swamp thing though.
But i feel it cant live up to Morrison's & Moore's runs on both Respective Books.

Firestorm was my favorite character on the Super Friends cartoon back in the day. The only knowledge I have of the character is from that show.

Love Firestorm, one of my favorite characters, read all 100 issues of his original series in the 80s, so Im excited hes getting his own book again.

But I dont like that they made Ronnie an agressive moron once the new guy came around, and it looks like they're still sticking to that so Im not sure about this, I'll try it out but if they keep on doin that I'm gonna drop it.
