Great artwork and I agree that this is one of the greatest one two punches in comics today. But I didn't realize there was huge Bay windows in the batcave or is Bruce letting bats $#!t in his study again?

Somebody tell me if I'm off base with this, I won't mind, but did DC keep essentially most if not all of Batman continuity? And now they are changing the origin?

@sirchrisdaniels Batman and the Green Lanterns continuity basically stayed the same.

The last issue was amazing. I loved seeing Bruce and Alfred arguing with each other. A nice change of pace in their relationship and the interaction between Bruce Wayne and Edward Nygma was very engaging and had me smiling throughout the entire page. Great issue 9/10.

@tonychu Is it setting a precedence? won't they also have to come up with a new story for how characters like Dick, Tim, Barbara and Jason came about and grew in a short amount of time? Not saying it couldn't work, I've heard great things about this story from you and others, I was just under the belief that this new 52 batman hadn't been on the job long at all

@sirchrisdaniels

Batman has been around for about 7 years in the current continuity. Zero Year is six years before the present (the New 52 #1s). The New 52 first issue start in his sixth year as Batman and as revealed in Death of the Family, a year has passed since the number 1s, so yeah thats roughly 7 years give or take.
