Justice League new roster


For those of you with poor eyesight, that's Green Arrow, Vixen, Hawkman, Black Lightning, Element Woman, Shazam, Zatanna, Black Canary, Goldrush? and Firestorm. Some pretty powerful and diverse heroes here. Some of the characters have yet to debut in the New 52 while other candidates are set to become members of the government sponsored Justice League of America. One things for sure, the next issue is can't miss.

I need to get back into the JL. I read the first 6 issues of the new 52. They were ok but I heard they got better.

Issue was meh, Geoff Johns is at his best when he's writing solo books. His JL book has been lacking...

Also, Batman is so [frick]ing useless in this book. =D

Anyway, I'm indifferent when it comes to Grant Morrison, but I don't like the idea of him writing the Justice League. The whole point of this reboot is to erase the sillyness of the old continuity and by far the biggest sillyness is Bat-God that Morrison made famous.

But I do agree, Johns doesn't work well with the team books. Someone else should've done it, Brian Azzerello is doing great work with Wonder Woman. He's expanded her surpporting cast vastly and he's giving everyone of them their own voice.

Would love to see him take a crack at the Justice League. Geoff Johns should write Action Comics, Green Lantern and Shazam if they ever decide to make it a month.

Not a fan of the new 52 Green Arrow...no beard...no hood...looks like a green Hawkeye....And here I was believing Hawkeye was inspired by GA...I guess we come full circle, eh?

Arrow's 52 look is almost like if Zorro started using bat-a-rangs!

Hawkeye looks like Green Arrow since Ollie was already dressed like this before the avengers movie came out. Goldrush is a character from Wetworks the old image comic.
