COMICS: Owlman's Violent Origin Story Revealed In JUSTICE LEAGUE #25 Preview

Damn.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to read this one. I love the concept of Owlman, and I dig the twisted concept of Earth 3-- that evil is a predominant mindset there, so no matter how over-the-top the inversions of the superheroes' origins are, it still plays well (and sometimes even hilariously-- but here, it's pretty stone-cold).

Still, I kinda prefer the Court of Owls version of Owlman, and I hope he makes a comeback at some point soon.

As if the New 52 weren't gritty and gloomy enough as it is. They must've had a field day coming up with this.

I like the whole idea of alternative universes. The stories are usually interesting. Liked it a lot on Fringe. But this is a little dark for me

That is some Dark crap, cant wait to read it

but cool none the less,
Doug Mahnke is a good replacement for Ivan Reis, still going to miss his work, even if he is returning next issue

Loving The Forever Evil storyline. have always loved alternative universes and stuff cuz they don't have the same limitations the real versions do. So much potential....that's what made all the Flashpoint spinoffs so great.... Now this... Great stuff

IMO, these Owl mythologies are the only worthwhile plots to spin out of the new 52.

Damn. That origin is dark. I liked it. To be honest i've always been facinated by Owlman more than any of the other characters from the alternate earth.
