I agree, get rid of the collar and the uniform will look more classic and mature.

This art is great. I'm so glad DC has gone back to more traditional style art. The 90's and Image comics had that computer polished egding and color that was cool at the time, but I really like variance of textures we're seeing again across the board. The tv animated style has no business on paper.

I really like the new Superman costume. I'm a slightly older guy and I appreciate the old costume for it's time, but most characters in DC and Marvel have evolved their costumes to some degree over the last 4 decades. It was time for Superman to get his new look. I like the collar, and piping. I get sense that he hails from krypton royalty. You have this practical armor-esque suit with some regal touches to remind us he's not just a warrior. I for one never liked seeing the collar bones of the actors wearing this suit. And they didn't make the mistake of Superman Returns with the regular collar and cape attached to high on the neck. This is more balanced. I agree with some that blue is almost a wash out in the middle, but I'm warming up to the red belt. If you add the yellow/gold more in the mid section it would draw away from his shield and create two eye sores. If it's drawn like it is above, I love it. Unfortunately, some artists have struggled to capture Jim Lee's design, but I think that is more a credit to Lee's unique and complicated micro-detailed style.

@thewolfx also lose the girly sleeves. You know who used to have the sleeves over the hands? Supergirl

Good story line, also brings out a lot of character development, I really liked the latest issue, still wondering who He'l really is and what his background is.

And who and what is this freakin Oracle guy? And who is this horn blower dude? he's been around forever and I still dont know who he is.
