"It’s shocking to me that DC would entrust their beloved superheroes to the Usual Gang of Idiots at Mad," said mag editor John Ficarra. "Then again, this is the same company that hired me and my staff, so they do have a history of making bad decisions." this just proves better artists are working at MAD.. only one (Lantern) of those actually looks good enough to used as the cover of MAD.. cheap cost cutting measures at comic book companies have watered down the talent pool to where the artists these days make Rob Liefeld look like Di Vinci..

I was always a HUGE fan of Mort Drucker and Jack Davis for their satirical stuff. This is actually a pretty clever idea.

These actually represent my feeling about DC's characters for the most part.

Laughable.

Ah, Mad magazine. Was totally subversive without a hint of negativity. In its heyday it could easily eat Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Seth MacFarlane in one simple gulp.
