While certainly not the only Green Lantern monthly comic out there, Sinestro Corps will definitely shine bright amongst its peers in adding to the Green Lantern Mythos. Joining Green Lantern, Green Lantern: New Guardians, Green Lantern Corps, Red Lantern, and Larfleeze, fans can enjoy tales of the universe's most feared, which will likely follow the current events of Lights Out. Look for more info to be released at this years San Diego Comic Con. One has to wonder, what took so long?

Frankly, I hope they reboot GL for the new DC cinematic universe. I'm a GL fan first and foremost and I was appalled by the film. They reduced Paralax to a roaming space fart cloud and wasted Mark Strong.

I loved The Tales of The Sinestro Corps TPB. The story of Despotellis actually creeped me out a little bit. I would actually love like a combo green lantern/tales from the crypt vibe since their whole deal is fear.

@OldGreg they have called them yellow lanterns or fear lanterns in New Guardians with arkillo after the fall of the main corps and most likely arkillo will be the main person in the story unless its a flash black story

This would be cool..forget the GL re-boot.

You already have a fantastic Sinestro with actor Mark Strong.
What DC/WB needs to do is make a SINESTRO CORPS. movie.
Set a precident as the first studio to make a villain the main character & set it all in outer space & on alien worlds.

Sinestro/Strong are compelling enough & his story & abilities would really work well of they indeed focused on a true science fiction premise as the GL movie had promised.
All the wild looking & outlandish alien races appear but focus on only a few.

Naturally the GL Corps. would be featured but use Guy Gardner or John Stewart this time & have them secondary to an alien GL.
End of movie could tie into a Justice League film & have Hal Jordan confront Sinestro in that film.

Each DC/WB solo film should thread into the greater tapestry of the JL movie, each arch-enemy of the heroes join forces to battle the combined might of the League.
Now that's a cool set-up for a comic book movie franchise.

@sameoldthing I would certainly watch it but I don't know that the general audience would watch it. They would still make Sinestro a villain to be sympathized with or some kind of anti-hero.
