I just dropped Batman: TDK as a monthly series I'm reading - it's not that it's bad, it's just that there's so much going on in the other Batman comics that i finally decided this one was just too many Bat-stories to follow.

I don't understand the point of Batman: TDK. I understand that DC love and trust Batman as a brand (and it sells) but what is this book doing that others aren't already? There's a very high quality in the main title, Batman Inc. is ending, Detective Comics is fine, Batman and Robin is doing cool stuff with different team-ups, Batwoman's intruiging, Batgirl's fun... I guess Nightwing and Catwoman are pretty meh, but still.
You get my point? Do we still need this title?

This team did amazing work on Penguin: Pain & Prejudice. I've yet to pick up The Dark Knight series though. No one seems to be reading it but its still going.

Szymon Kudranski pulls the best Batman artwork I've seen in a while, he really fits the style that batman needs, just like alex maleev.

Hurwitz is such an uneven writer. Sometimes his stuff is golden, other times... not so much. B:TDK is no exception.
