does anyone elses feels like trinity war was a letdown? i mean, its a good story, but i feel like they over sold it by building hype for almost two years.

I tried. I really tried to get into the whole new 52 Justice League but I can't. This Trinity War is just silly and doesn't fit in to the grand scheme of things. I wish DC would get better writers and focus more on the dynamics of the relationships between these extraordinary people and how they relate too the rest of the world. Instead they simply put hero vs hero and throw ending world threat after ending world threat at them. And Shazam is a silly character.

I usually feel that DCs events are much better than Marvels events. but I do feel that Trinity war was a letdown. If feels like nothing happened.
I hope Marvel's Infinity ends up being good.

I also am guessing that all Trinity War is is a big set-up for Forever Evil.

if thats true then Pandoras Box is probably a portal that sends all the Superheroes to another dimension and brings a bunch of Villains to the DCU and thats how the Crime Syndicate is introduced and then the regular DC villains actually end up having to defend the earth from the new villains... just guessing

This event was okay at best. I was let down after hearing so much hype about it. Infinity #1 was good so hopefully Marvel's event is better than Trinity War.

This event has been such a disappointment. The first issue was great and really had things happening but after that it was just everyone running around with no revelations or answers given.

Even the "big revelation" at the end of last issue that the box was really a doorway was already spoiled by Johns in an interview a couple of weeks ago.

I've really liked Trinity War. I felt let down at first, but the last two issues have been great.

This event has been good. I wouldn't call it great, but it has been entertaining and far from a let down. Enjoyed Throne of Atlantis more than this

@TheBoss - i agree, Throne of Atlantis was great and epic

Throne of Atlantis has been my favorite arc so far other than Darkseid's quick entry. This event wasn't so much a letdown, it just wasn't as big as I thought it would be. 6 issues of the main were just not enough for me I guess.

Loved seeing the classic JL villains though.

Outsider! Nice! It would be funny as hell if this really were an evil Alfred from the antimatter universe-- preparing to unleash the Crime Syndicate on the regular DC Universe.

(Oh, wait-- that's probably exactly what's happening. DAMN YOU, SOLICITATIONS!)
