COMICS: Wally West To Make His DCnU Debut After The New Year?

Ever since DC launched the New 52 with Barry Allen as The Flash a lot of people have been wondering when Wally West would pop up. Dan Didio may have just gave us our first hint by saying he hopes to see him in the New Year.

Barry Allen has been set up as The Flash in DC's new 52 relaunch. As popular as the silver age Flash has been people have been asking, where is Wally West? DC has been pretty tight lipped about when or if they will be bringing West into the fold. Last we had heard back in October, current Flash writers Francis Manapul and Brian Buccellato had a planed on bringing Wally in to the DCnU with Manapul saying, "The pitch is on Dan [DiDio's] desk". However when CBR contacted DC they said they had no plans to develop the character. Well that might all be changing based on a simple Facebook post from Dan Didio, DC's Senior VP and Executive Editor.

While obviously this doesn't mean we will definitely see West, it is more hope than fans of the character have gotten in a really long time. Earlier in the year the character Daniel West was introduced withe rumors swirling that it could be DC trying to sneak Wally by us. However, nothing has materialized with it. Recently it was announced that Reverse Flash would be making his first appearance in the New 52, so hopefully Wally might follow soon after. Would be cool if in some way the old dc universe(new earth) striked back and the charactrs interacted with each other.

I can really c it, like a Terminator kind of thing; Wally/Zoom comes from the future 2 kill Barry only for their familial link 2 b revealed... Either way count me down as excited 4 this shit!

God I hope this is true, but its probably some stupid tease, Wally is my favorite superhero of all time.

Here's hoping they actually do bring him back and also not totally screw it over.

And that idea for bringing him back as reverse flash is a horrible idea, Wally is a hero and thats why I like him, turning him evil would defeat the whole point.

I cant STAND Bart Allen! I hope this is true, Wally is what got me into DC comics and probably into comics in general, I'd prefer he came as KF first, because I love Barry too, but if he came as Flash I wldnt complain!

Big Bang means DC? :D Contracts and shit; hell, some episodes of that show are actually kinda' damn funny. It's always been a thing for me with Barry and Wally. I can never choose. I always loved Flash(family of track runners; my sister ran for UK on scholarship).., even for a year prior to the epic George Perez illustrated Crisis of '80's, when Barry showed his true colors and left a good story, for the time, to launch. I enjoyed the Jackson Guice early issues greatly! Wally took over the mantle, but nowadays it's whatever works, so I guess we'll see soon what they're gonna' put on screen. Please don't half ass WB! Gosling is your Curry.., as a final outsider component to any group assembly revenge flick.., haven't seen the WB made Gangster Squad film yet.., but do ya' dig? :D WB pull your balls out on this one or you'll be forever chasing Stan Lee's toupee. Let's do this; Man of Steel looks incredible! I actually forget it is a Nolan production.

Perfect Wonder Woman: Zoe Bell meets Eva Mendez meets the chick that was Cameron Diaz's best friend from "What Happens In Vegas(I know, but it had Cordry and Galifinakis so I wathced it in parts)." That will be the toughest angle casting the Justice League. Casting a big beauty that's exotic and not fake will be a task! Carano is still my solid choice; with suit design, diet, dialect coaches; her determination and strength might prove her the best choice. Hathaway was great to look at, corrupted the Nolanverse but noone cared and DC needs to take Justice League with the Nolan realism, but realsitic casting and producer casting. In all of his Batman films you can tell when he let, or felt he had to let producers have a say.., sounds like I'm a loyalist.., but yes the dumbest and shittiest decisions were brought about by the
