@DaneMendieta
That sounds like some seriously good artistry. Coipel and McGuinness are favourites of mine.

Dan Abnett can do no wrong? Have you seen the Space Marine movie? It was terrible.

@Dedpool

That is what I was wondering why the heck the Snakemen seem to be fighting alongside the Masters.

This is what we need as an endgame for a series of movies when it comes time for a real Masters of the Universe movie:

Masters of the Universe - Skeletor is the main villain. He-Man and Skeletor have a handful of their most faithful companions. Have to build up to something after all... Bring in supporting characters and tease the next installment(s) with a conversation between The Sorceress and Zodac ("There's a war on the horizon... blah blah blah...").

Masters of the Universe: (something about Snake Mountain or the Snake Men) - While Skeletor is licking his wounds from the last movie, King Hiss and the Snake Men surface and their story teases Hordak. He-Man will get help from the more primal, nature based warriors (Buzz-Off, Moss Man, the Rock People, etc...). Maybe they're introduced fighting some newly recruited followers of Skeletor. End the movie with Skeletor recieving the teaser that Hordak is coming.

Masters of the Universe: (something about Hordak or The Evil Horde or Etheria) - Introduce She-Ra. Reluctant He-Man/Skeletor team up to stop Hordak. New allies for each side. Everything's fine until the last battle which will be He-Man vs. Hordak vs. Skeletor. Maybe they're shipped off to another dimension or Etheria by Zodac just for the fight. Battle is unresolved which leads to...

Never read a he-man comic but this cover art is an enticing argument to give it a try.

No one will ever be better than Dolph Lundgren as He-Man, Frank Langella as Skeletor, or the lady with the most incredibly haunting eyes in show business as Evil Lynn, Ms. Meg Foster.

I know soon we will be getting a DCCU, but I so would love a He-Man movie series. I wonder what Peter Jackson will be doing next? This could be his and WB's next big series.

@DaneMendieta:

It was the Ultramarines movie in 2010. So much potential but absolutely terrible writing. From one of the guys that I thought was among the best of the Black Library writers too. Very disappointing.
