As always I find your video predictions to be very informative and you are usually spot on Matt. I agree with you that by not including the Arrow and the Flash and the rest of the CW-verse in the DC cinematic universe, is a completely missed opportunity. I love Stephen Amells Arrow and Grant Gustins Flash. I understand why the decided to keep the tv shows separate from the movies but at the same time DC could have really beaten Marvel in this capacity due to the fact that DC is currently killing it in their TV show department.
Also, I completely agree with you on the fact that their is no way in hell Leto's Joker is Jason Todd. This theory cheapens the Joker and Batman Mythos and it also doesn't make sense given the fact that the Robin who was killed by the Joker is in fact Jason Todd which means we will get to See Todd return as the Red Hood who happens to be one of the cooler Bat-family characters and I know they are reserving the Red Hood for a Batman solo movie. Keep up the good work and I look forward to your next video.

About the not connecting the CWverse with the movies is a missed opurtunity... No just no... On the contorary. It is one of the smartes moves they have done.

1. It ties the scriptwritters hands for both the shows and the movies.

2. It creates huge shedule conflicts. Especially for the Flash

2B. If the stars was starting to get blockbuster money, you can bet your hat, that they would demand more money. If that would happen, you can bet that CW would be force to cancell the shows since they are not able to give actors and actresses the same paycheck like channels like HBO

3. If the shows where connected, Legends of Tomorrow would never be able to greenlight.

4. The Majority of those that are on the show, will at best be Michael Bay stars unless they do a Channing Tatumm and really push themself to be better. Just as an example

If you where Warner Brothers, would you do a Suicide Squad movie, with the Z-listers from the Arrows squad, or having names like Will Smith, Viola Davis and Jared Leto? The obvious answer is the latter. No way in hell that they would ever even want to try it out with the cast that Arrow had for the squad.

5. In the Flash, the first known people that has powers, is Flash and the metahumans. The first known (and by known i mean for the public and media) in man of steel is Clark and the kryptonians.

6. Not everyone is watching the CW shows. Far from it. At best, it has around 4 million views. That is not even enough to even concider a moviecrossover. You need numbers like Game of Thrones (6-9) or Big Bang Theory (14-18) if you want to talk about it. And the fact of matter is that, if Flash and Arrow would have the same raitings on another channel, boths shows would be canned long ago. The only reason that they are staying alive is that CW is a lowbudget channel.

7. Not everyone has either the time and/or intrest to watch x shows and x seasons to get one movie.

@Emblemmaniac. You know, you are completely right. You brought up every point as to why DC can't crossover their TV shows with the films. I'm just a big fan of what DC is doing on TV and I'm really excited for the DC Cinematic Universe to finally be getting off the ground. I don't want to speak for Matt but as for me, it's more or less whishful thinking. As a comic fan it would be awesome to have TV Arrow and the Flash share screen time with the movie heavy hitters. I just think it would have been cool to see Amell pop up in a future DC movie as the Green Arrow even though it's more or less impossible as you stated above. But I will say that Matt always does a good job with his predictions and that he's not the only person who shares similar views.

@Emblemmaniac you make some really good point that I can agree with. I am with @Achangel82 that I love the TV Green Arrow and would love to see him in a movie. I do think having a TV Flash and a Movie Flash will be redundant for the fans and confusing for an occasional movie goer.

@SexyMatt

Redundant? For those that watches the shows prehaps! Confusing? How? Especially when not the majority is not even watching it
SexyMatt
SexyMatt - 9/8/2015, 5:29 AM
@Emblemmaniac Confusing because even tho not a lot of people watch the show, must people are aware that it exists. They would have to take the time to explain that the movie flash has nothing to do with the show. For example most of my family are not comic or movie fans and almost every year I have to explain why there are so many Spider-Men. I feel most people are at this knowledge level so having 2 flash at the same time will be confusing. I think they lose sales either way, so might as well please the fans and combine the universes.

@SexyMatt

I dissagree with you. I think the audience are smarter then this. There is a diffrent between two interpitations of the same charachter. No one was not confused over Smallvile and Superman Returns.

@Emblemmaniac. In Matts defense. If the audience is so smart then why did the CW pull Deadshot from their character roster on the show? It's ok having two interpretations of the Flash but not Deadshot? I'm not trying to argue with you but it appears that someone clearly thought it would be confusing having two Deadshots running around considering that one is being played by Will Smith.

@Archangel83

Honestly, i don't really get their rules about their charachter. I know it is for the best that they are not connecting, for reasons that i write in my previous comment. But i don't really get why they cannot have two versions of some of the charachters. Especially since CW apparently can use Deathstroke and Amanda Waller still. (If i am not mistaken, CWs Amanda was in the season 4 trailer)

I have heard something about Bob Kane's family don't want just specific Batman in a Tv Show ever again. If so, that could explain the Batman thing in Gotham. However, i am not sure if that is true, so don't qpute me on that one

Again, i don't think the audience is stupid so they don't get that they are two seperate versions. The onces that watches the show, should especialy not have a problem, do to the introduction do Jay Garrick since with Garrick, you are introducing a diffrent earth.
