Hello ComicBookMovie community! Hope you all had a great summer! I know I did. Anyway, let's get to the subject at hand. There are many actors we'd like to see suit up as some of our favorite superheroes. From Superman to Ant-Man, comic book fans have been doing fan casts probably since Adam West suited up as everyones favorite campy Batman. So today I wanted to share with you some actors that I would love to see get cast as some of my favorite heroes from the comic book world.

Peter Parker/Spider-Man - Dylan O'Brien (Teen Wolf, The Maze Runner)

Dylan O'Brien as Peter Parker could be the perfect cast Spider-Man to hit any screen. Dylan O'Brien has the comedic timing, the witty-ness, the awkward-ness, the charm, a slim, athletic looking phyisque and is an all-around great actor. Being in his early 20's he could portray the web sling, wall crawler for a long time in Spider-Man's best period, his high school years. Also if this ever came to fruition I'd prefer it to be a Spider-Man from Marvel Studios camp. Most likely airing on Netflix since Marvel has their film slate all filled up and Spider-Man series would be total awesome and enough to encompass Spidey's high school years. Maybe Have cross-over episodes with Dare Devil. I should really stop before I make the community and I cry that we might never get this.

Jason Todd/Red Hood - Jack O'Connell (Skins (U.K.), Starred Up)

Jack O'Connell.  Jack O'Connell is one of those actors whos career we'll have to keep an eye on. He's extremely talented and has been, for the most part, making the right choices when it comes to choosing his roles. Jack O'Connell is no stranger of playing the type of character Jason Todd is. He can portray the badass, no f*cks given kind of character that Jason Todd is. With a new, older Batman in the DCCU I hope to see Jason Todd in some capacity some day. Maybe on Arrow? Either way, Jack O'Connell could easily bring this character to life and own the role completely. Jack O'Connell is also probably the perfect age for this as Jason Todd is the second Robin and is, at most, eight/seven years younger than Nightwing.

Dick Grayson/Nightwing - Matt Bomer (White Collar, Superman Unbound)

While Matt Bomer as Bruce Wayne/Batman might never happen since Ben Affleck has taken that position, Matt Bomer as Nightwing is a close second favorite of mine for this actor. Matt Bomer can be charming, charasmatic, witty, and has that athletic looking physique that looks like he'd be able to do all those gymnastic flips like Nightwing does. Matt Bomer is great actor, giving some solid perfomances, and has come close to donning Superman's cape. I believe Matt Bomer's Nightwing would be a nice contrast to Ben Affleck's Batman.

J'onn J'onzz/Martian Manhunter - Peter Mensah (Spartacus, 300)

I don't care how old Peter Mensah is, I don't care if this is a predictable fancast. The dude can still look like a total believable badass. Peter Mensah is, was, and probably always will be my favorite pick for the green martian. He's in his mid 50's, yes, but the dude can obviously still look believable when he kicks ass as we've seen in the Starz series, Spartacus. Peter Mensah is also a great actor who can easily portray J'onn J'onzz. Hopefully J'onn is indeed in the Justice League film and Warner Bros. is smart enough to pick him up for the role before it's too late.

Well, there you have it. Four actors for four superheroes. These are some of my favorite fan casts for some of my favorite heroes. So tell me what you guys think? Do you agree with all of these choices? Do you hate them all? Do you like half and hate the other? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below! Also don't forget to hit that red thumbs up glove.

Interesting picks. Do you think you could post the full Spider-Man pic you used? It looks awesome.

Love the idea for Nightwing. I think Matt would be amazing for the role. Also Dylan O'Brien as Peter Parker sounds good.

Awesome picks, good job. I could really see this happening..... God, I wish the Spider-Man rights were back at Marvel, Revert and Reboot.

I think Bomer would be good for Nightwing too, Has anybody watched "White Collar", is it a good show?

@Staypuffed I didn't make that image, but I went ahead and found the image.

@Gliderman Why don't you like them? And thanks.

@DrKinsolving I have watched White Collar. It's a really good show. Really entertaining, smart and funny. That show is the whole reason I would have liked seeing Matt Bomer as Bruce Wayne/Batman. :P
