The first issue of Becstar, Mad Cave Studios' upcoming sci-fi mercenary comic book, is now available for pre-order! They're celebrating with a giveaway that includes an exclusive poster, all five monthly issues, and the physical Becstar Vol. 1 trade paperback! Click here to learn more about the contest and enter.

We've included the trailer below so that you can learn more about the comic, as well as see some of the artwork and coloring! Becstar is written by Joe Coralla, pencilled/inked by Lorenzo Colangeli and lettered by Joamette Gil. Cover artwork is by Sweeney Boo.

Becstar follows the star hopping mercenary-gone-full time gambler and her fan-turned-regret filled-friend Sally. Did we mention that she has a magical dagger?

Digital versions of the comic will cost you $3.99, but you can subscribe to the full Becstar series for $19.99 (plus shipping and handling). Becstar is a star hopping mercenary-gone-full time-gambler light years away from earth. Leaving her old life behind with the help of her magical lucky dagger and friend Sally Soolin, Becstar ekes out a living under the nefarious Shadow Syndicate’s radar. But when a mysterious girl appears with grim news and an urgent quest where the fate of the universe hangs in the balance, Becstar has no choice but to join… and regret it immediately.
