If you haven't already been hooked on the Avengers vs. X-Men, first of all I have no idea where you have been, there is only one issue left, and second, then issue #11 will definitely get you hooked! Of course, hooked on Phoenix (joke on phonics, if you didn't get it).

With Brian Michael Bendis on script, and Olivier Coipel on pencils, this book is undoubtedly the best of the series. The script is amazing, it makes it seem like the characters are real people. The words of each character seem so realistic, and it really made me feel for them (sans Cyclops of course). Coipel's art is amazing, and it definitely made this issue worth the four week wait. He brought out the characters emotions so tremendously, just like Bendis's words. I also have to give a shoutout to Laura Martin, who did the colors. They are amazing, and capture the tone of each panel like colors should.

The only complaint I would have for this issue is that it is too short! I feel like it should have been longer. Although with issue #12 (final issue) coming out in three weeks, I'm sure that will be long. It needs to be with all the things that were brought up in this issue.

With that said, I give this issue a 9.5/10! A definite addition to your Wednesday Stack!

Now, on to my favorite moments of this issue. Number one will be my most favorite, number four is my least.

#1.

Hulk's Return. I laughed, smiled, jumped up and down, and also told my grandmother how much I love comic books when I saw this. I think the best way to read this was the way I did, digitally. I read it on my iPhone and I read most all of the panels before the one above without having any idea of who Cap was talking to. If I had read it non-digitally, I would have been spoiled right when I turned the page.

#2.

"He's Dark Phoenix." I don't know how I didn't expect this. It seems like it would be the most obvious thing that they would do, is make Cyclops go all "Dick Mode" and kill Emma for the rest of the P Force, then turn into Dark Phoenix. I love it, and can't wait to see what happens next.

#3.

Hulk's (Actual) Return. All I can say is: I love you Hulk.

#4.

The Death of Professor Xavier. He shall be missed. Xavier was a great character, and I really felt for him, and I almost cried when he was talking to Cyclops, realizing that this was mostly his fault for leading Scott down this path.

There you have it, my review and top 4 favorite moments from Avengers vs. X-Men Issue #11.

I'm glad your like the series. Personally I will always love the marvel characters but I cannot keep up with their universe. I wanted to get all the issues but missed a couple but I haven't really liked it. Can you tell me what you think about these books.
