a z-list villain who's gonna hit the big time in this event.

Well, so far the first issue showed real promise. They actually focused on the characters and narrative instead of cutting to big flashy Superhero smack down. I hope this will finally make me believe in good Marvel events again.

Infinity was a very good event. If you haven't read it yet you should.

I'm starting to think this is the past where Tony Stark goes bad guy in the black suit.

I had no idea who the guy in the suit/Thing lookalike was either, but it's Doctor Midas, some obscure Marvel Boy villain apparently.

After that last sloppy issue, I'm not sure I care what happens further. They really scraped the bottom of the barrel for this series' villains.

Marvel Boy was a great mini series from Grant Morrison back in 2000. I never thought I'd see Marvel Boy again and then he became an Avenger. Glad to see Midas popping up again too. I think Marvel is getting ready to release a reprint Marvel Boy. I highly recommend it. He fights all kinds of crazy stuff like a living corporation. The government sends in these guys called the Banner Men. They're soldiers bolstered with Super Soldier Serum, skeletons laced with adamantium and have been irradiated with gamma rays allowing them to hulk out.

I wouldn't call it good. I probably just buy it because it features Uatu and classic Fury.
