COMICS: Check Out Joe Madureira's GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY #2 Variant Cover

Marvel were clearly very happy with sales of Guardians of the Galaxy #1 as they've commissioned yet another variant cover for issue #2 of Brian Michael Bendis and Steve McNiven's "Marvel NOW!" series. This one is from Joe Madureira and puts the spotlight on Gamora and Rocket Raccoon.

Not gonna lie, I never read this series and when I heard about it my immediate reaction was on the lines of "A humanoid Raccoon? This sounds retarded"

But that cover art.... oh man I'm excited!

Awesome art, madureira is really good as always.

And the armor has such a mass efecct vibe to it. I gues it's safe to say they'll follow this route in the movie.
