Marvel Comics has just revealed the first look at Captain America: Civil War’s prelude series titled, “Captain America: Road To War” The series will be written by Will Corona Pilgrim, and be released this April! To get your first look at the series that will feature Captain America and Black Widow beating the New Avengers into shape, check out the image and the plot details below!

Certain tie-in comics are canon, if they have the official red Avengers stamp on it.

The guy that oversees the MCU's continuity (Will Corona Pilgrim himself) confirmed this.
