I have a friend who has never really read comics but he loves cbms. He still has no idea as to who the Winter Soldier really is. He only asked me if the character was as badass as the trailers made him look. I told him "yes" and now I get to see the look on his face when his identity is revealed in the film. I'm almost looking forward to THAT more than seeing the film...........almost.

I KNOW!!! We take things like this for granted but, for those unfamiliar with the story, it's a great twist! Ah, to have that experience!

The first Captain America film was pretty bad, this is why I was surprised how good the 2nd one was!

If they do Red Skull again they need to change the face, looked really crappy in the film version...

Oh, man. You guys are making me wish I was going to see the movie with someone invested in the story who doesn't know the twist. Seems like it would be so fun to watch their reaction. Marvel hasn't really hidden Sebastian Stan's involvement, but it has been a few years since the first movie so I guess it's hard to recognize him if you're not expecting it to be him and you're just seeing brief flashes. He just looks like a mysterious badass in the trailers. I saw the first one with my mom and brother and I really wanted to drop hints about Bucky, but I didn't.

As for this director's cut, it seems cool but are they doing the whole series? If so it's probably worth just waiting or the trade paperback. I've got a Winter Soldier trade, but there's a printing error so I might be down to pick up a new one.

I saw Captain America:TWS today and IMO its the best of Marvel Phase 2 movies so far and better then its predecessor.

@ThePowerCosmic

I'd go so far as to say it's Marvel's best film to date. Avengers was fun, but First Avenger had something special. Pacing and maturity.
