The team originates from 616 but they've been ending up in different realities and/or times.

I absolutely loved this book when it was Thunderbolts. Parker made it one of the top team books on the shelves. Dropped it once the title and the cast changed.

Thunderbolts rocked so much, but this series has sucked so bad. Soooooo bad. Not sure if Jeff Parker just quit caring or if Marvel big wigs made him change direction in order to capitalize on another "Avengers" leaning book.

It's not Conan and he's sitting in a tree "all goofy looking" because that cover is a tribute to the cover of All Story in which appeared for the very first time anywhere one Tarzan of the Apes......circa 1912. Google it.
