Some major spoilers for The Batman - Part II have surfaced from an unlikely source: the makeup team behind Heidi Klum's latest Halloween costume.
Mike Marino's ProRenFX, which also worked on Matt Reeves' beleaguered sequel, shared a since-deleted behind-the-scenes photo of Klum's gruesome, severed hand outfit, and some very interesting details relating to the long-awaited movie were spotted in the background.
Along with a container labeled "Zsasz," one labeled "Owl 3," and another labeled "Koch" (possibly suggesting that actor Sebastian Koch will also don prosthetics to play his mysterious character), there's a face mold that would seem to confirm that Brian Tyree Henry is indeed playing Harvey Dent/Two-Face.
Though the facial scarring on the left side isn't particularly extensive, this would be in keeping with the more "grounded" aesthetic of Reeves BatVerse.
If Henry is playing Dent, we can probably assume the rumor that Sebastian Stan is actually playing twisted serial killer Victor Zsasz is also accurate.
There also appears to be a mold of Peter McDonald, who plays corrupt GCPD pffocer Willian Kenzie, and one side of this mold is even more scarred-up than Henry's. This could indicate that both Kenzie and Dent will be victims of the same attacker, possibly Zsasz.
Scarlett Johansson's name doesn't appear on any of the molds or props, so we're still in the dark about her role, despite rumors that she will play a version of Poison Ivy. A blonde woman many believe to be the actress' stunt double was recently spotted riding shotgun in the Batmobile. The same woman was then seen standing with a mysterious child as Wayne was being resuscitated by Alfred.
Production recently resumed, with Steven Soderbergh stepping behind the camera to finish principal photography after Reeves was forced to leave the set to deal with an ongoing family matter.
"Just to be clear, I am not leaving The Batman Part II," Reeves clarified on social media after the news broke. "I am profoundly grateful to Steven for coming to my aid during this challenging time to help me finish principal photography. Thank you to all for your concern and well wishes."
Robert Pattinson has shared his thoughts on Soderbergh stepping in to help finish the film.
"I am so happy he's come on to help Matt," the Primetime star told GamesRadar. "It's incredibly generous of him – and he's doing it in the loveliest way. It's completely selfless."
"I think Matt had put so much work into the script, and we're almost done," Pattinson continued. "So for someone to come in and say, 'I just want to help Matt do it; I want to do it in conjunction with him and just get it to the edit.' And to have someone who's as talented as Steven doing it is great."
Pattinson also confirmed that cameras are rolling again. "I think they're in production already. And I'm starting in a couple of days."
DC Studios previously revealed that Soderbergh was the one who approached Reeves with the offer of help. Reeves is believed to have completed around two-thirds of the film, so the Ocean's Eleven director does still have a bit of work ahead of him.
The Batman - Part II is set to hit theaters on February 18, 2028.
