Well what do you know Ed McGuinness can draw someone who is not so buff that they can't even move.

His art is progressing and I like it.

how did Starlord make it back from the cancerverse yet Dick Rider didn't?

@Shamo both starlord and thanos but not nova. Smh

@marvelpsycho79 I love it too. And agreed with the red hulk and she hulk disaster. Awful. And he draws gamora and rocket great too. And wolverine, and iron man, and cable, and cyclops, and spiderman, and captain america. Pretty much everyone.

@shamo got no clue on that either, here's hoping alex will shed some light on that one, or maybe help bring richard rider back some how. i would love to see richard rider be his mentor, with the GotG of course.

I like the art here. Very few artists really know how to draw teen characters correctly. McGuinness is doing a much better job making Sam look like a teen than Bagley did with Ultimate Spidey. Peter went from looking 12 in one panel to looking 40 in the next.

Still don't know if I'm cool with someone replacing Richard Ryder as Nova. I guess I'll need to look at where this is going before passing judgment. Ryder just needed a gentle reboot- maybe get him talking like a modern teen instead of one from the 60s or 70s.

This "new" NOva is total garbabge and the art is something that looks like it belongs on Nick Jr. I get that they are marketing this new version to a younger generation, but please bring back Rich Rider. He was phenomenal as Nova-Prime and we never got to see him take on all the heavy weights in the Marvel Universe. If he wants to mentor this little punk, fine.

Well it was '76 when Rider was created and Richard was a popular name. Some of you are being a little too immature about this now. Back then (tho i can't say for sure since i wasn't alive then) i don't think they could spin dirty thoughts from everything like they do now.

And why do they keep talking like the Nova Corps is dead an gone? Last time i checked Worldmind was recruiting like crazy before the Fault stuff and i'm pretty sure that Robbie Rider and them are still around. I would have much rather had him be the new Nova Prime than this kid. I'm really hoping they tweak his personality from the Ultimate Spider-Man crap cuz if he has that personality........just bring Richie back. Brought Thanos back (thank you for that Marvel!). Brought Quill back. WHY NOT HIM?!?!?!?!!!
