this gonna be something special i think,i've just read jason aaron's wolverine goes to hell vol 1 & wolverine vs the x-men vol 2 graphic novels & thought they were very good reads.

as for marc silvestri loved his run on the uncanny x-men & cyberforce from image was pretty cool.

this could be one of maarvel's best books.

The Incredible Hulks series has sucked for a while now, I've just been reading for continuity purposes, so I'm hoping the story is going to be as badass as the artwork.

What issues (roughly speaking) was Silvestri working on? I've maybe read them, maybe not, but I've never associated artists' name with their work until here recently, and would like to go back and check them out.

@alcoholica- If you want to see Silvestri at his best, pick up 'Superman/Batman #8- #13. It's a 'Supergirl' origin story. Beautiful artwork and a very cool story.

So, when the green guy shaves....is it during when he's Bruce or as the Hulk?

The hulk looks like Tom Hanks from Cast Away.

are you talking/including minis? I haven't really been paying attention to WHEN they come out, but that on top of Legacy, Uncanny, X-Men, Factor, Hope, Force, 23, Wolverine, (maybe I missed some) we now also have Wolverine and the X-Men as an on-going series.

@ alcoholica & @ romack

no problem, its nice to go back & have sort of retro evening at a time when the x-men were pretty much untouchable.

chris claremont issues of the x-men are the best run,if you ask me.maybe marvel should see if they can get him back on the title.

Yeah Maddy trys to take him/kill him during that story. As far as Claremont goes, I know he did the Forever X-Men stuff which was supposed to pick up right where he left off (after X-Tinction Agenda I believe), but it wasn't 616 so I just couldn't get into it 100%. They should most def get him back if he's willing.
darkknightlegend
darkknightlegend - 9/21/2011, 4:18 PM
@marvel72 Im seconding that. Thats my best cyclops moment! Followed by Wolverine and Cyclops' 'fight' in Whedon's Astonishing Xmen

the uncanny x-men 205(wolverine & katie power vs lady deathstrike in the snow, art by barry windsor smith)

was my first marvel comic,i use to read my dads but that was the issue i got into them.
