Writing ain't too bad, I might check this one out. What I love about Daredevil is most super heroes have something special that allow them to be heroic, while Daredevil has a "disability" that makes him super. I know I'm stating the obvious but it's little things like that which keep me interested.

I don't mind the art, I think it's gorgeous, just like Cliff Chiang's work on Wonder Woman. It's just the design that's a little lacking. I dislike how Golden Age his costume is. For this story anyway, it ought to have been revamped.
Still, i'm only JUST getting started on Waid's run. Decided i couldn't pass up such a critically acclaimed series!

@Martian I think the art is like that for a reason. I think Mark isn't trying to do the same dark story that's been done so many times. That's why it's a classic in the making, and so much fun.

that panel of daredevil standing in the doorway is f*ckin awesome art.

the art is supposed to be lighter. Waid's doing something different with DD, just like he's doing with Hulk

Not all of the 28 comic run so far has been like the art in the above. I have really enjoyed the art and writing on this run. My favorite marvel comic right now
